On Friday 26th April, Romford Golf Club are delighted to host

"An evening with Iain Carter"

Iain is BBC Sport’s golf correspondent, a role he has held for the past 20 years, leading the Radio 5 Live commentary teams at all the biggest events including the four Majors and the Ryder and Solheim Cups.

His work brings him into contact with many of the world's leading golfers; enabling him to interview the game’s leading personalities including Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Iain also writes regularly for the BBC Sport website, appears on the “Chipping Forecast” podcast with Andrew Cotter and European Tour player Eddie Pepperell and his fifth book, “Golf Wars” will hit bookshelves on 11 April.

During his career, Iain has covered a multitude of other sports including International Rugby Union and Tennis. He was broadcasting during Andy Murray’s gold medal campaign at the London 2012 Olympics and to an estimated audience of 120 million listeners on the BBC World Service for the 1995 Rugby World Cup final in South Africa.
