"There is no doubt it is one of the best courses in Essex and has had the honor of hosting The Open regional qualifying on 6 occasions. With easy walking, lush fairways and good all year round greens along with the recent investment in drainage we are often open when other clubs have to close for adverse weather".
“ We like to think it’s a wonderful club and an extremely friendly one as well, where everyone is welcome. It has an excellent balance of old and new, maintaining golfing traditions and at the same time using a modern approach where appropriate. You can find all aspects of golf on this one course, where natural surroundings and the wildlife are in abundance”.
