Romford Golf Club, founded in 1894, is a non-profit making club owned, and run, by the members for the benefit of the members and visitors alike.

The course consists of 18 holes, designed by the legendary James Braid, the 5 times Open Champion, who was the professional here for 8 years.

The club has recently installed a Fairway irrigation system to ensure perfect playing conditions all year round.

We offer a variety of playing membership options for Men, Ladies and Junior players as well as a popular Social membership deal, allowing Romford Golf Club to be a hub of the local community as well as a a top class golfing facility.

"There is no doubt it is one of the best courses in Essex and has had the honor  of hosting The Open regional qualifying on 6 occasions. With easy walking, lush fairways and good all year round greens along with the recent investment in drainage we are often open when other clubs have to close for adverse weather".
